A solo performance ritual by Sean Nguyen-Hilton 

August 26th & 27th at 8pm | August 28th at 4pm

Initiated just before the global arrival of COVID 19, and developed throughout the pandemic, this room is a body holds space for transformation, transmutation, and movement.

Know Before You Go: 

• Duration: 75 minutes. No intermission. 
• Accessible parking is available - Please select “yes” when purchasing tickets and an accessible parking space will be reserved for you.
• The Windmill Arts Center is ADA compliant
• The Windmill Arts Center is an air conditioned indoor venue with three accessible restrooms
• Limited parking is available at The Windmill Arts Center. There is free residential parking along Thompson Street. Please do not park in surrounding parking lots.
• Drinks will be available by donation.

Using the writing, sound recording, and intuitive movement practices that built his solo performance, this room is a body, Sean Nguyen-Hilton guides participants through a 2 day workshop focused on the development of the personal narrative of the individual and it’s place within the multitude. 

This workshop is for any artist who is making work, or wants to make work, in solo dance/performance. It is necessary to have an intermediate understanding of body coordination, functional movement, and spatial awareness to benefit from this experience.
