The Fly Fellowship is an opportunity for performance-based artists in the Atlanta area. Fellows are provided free studio hours at Fly on a Wall’s Space, mentorship and support from the Fly on a Wall team, and the opportunity to create and produce their own work.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a commitment to further their artistic growth, a willingness to engage with their peers and community, and enthusiasm for learning the skills required to become a sustaining career artist.
This fellowship will require monthly online meetings, attendance of roundtables and symposia, team development hours working alongside the Fly on a Wall team, and will present opportunities for community engagement such as teaching or other forms of public offerings.
The Fly on a Wall Fellowship was established with a desire to broaden the perspective of the organization, while providing professional development to career artists. Though run by six artists, The FOAW platform exists outside of these members and is built as a support system that is informed by those who nurture it. By inviting fellows to participate in the platform, we hope to evolve and grow through the exchange of ideas, skills and experiences.

Application closes September 14th at midnight. Fellowship runs from Oct. 2025 - Sept. 2026
