A weekend exploring the unpackable themes of the Big Show:

IN THIS WORKSHOP WE WILL LOOK INTO DREAMS, WRITING, VOICE, MOVEMENT, EXHAUSTION, AUDIENCE AND OURSELVES THROUGH:

*Playwriting the roles we play as an attempt to expose and explore performing in life (essentially we will workshop pulling the veil back from social conditioning and seeing the absurdity of attempting to squeeze the mystery out of each other and ourselves and it should be fun)

*Audience games/inquiry (with a touch of some clowning)

*Movement and Voice practices that assist in authenticity, intuition and freedom

*DREAMWORK! both day-dreams and night dreams

(What are you dreaming? What are you carrying? Is it your dream? is it someone else's dream? dreaming as an act of deep listening and repair)

*Exhaustion. Acknowledging our humanity. WE WILL NAP.

*Birds. We will talk briefly about birds. especially red cardinals.
